From Gothenburg comes Teresa Indebetou with her band to share their own piano based jazz.

Their fourth record ”Cities” recorded at Nilento Studio (Imogena Records,) and with Ann-Sofie Söderqvist as a guest on trumpet/flugelhorn, receive rave reviews from the press.

"Exciting music and with a melodic creativity all through the eight songs...The four musicians present a personal jazz music with ambience, a great interaction and skilful individual playing."
Thord Ehnberg, DIG Jazz 2017

"With her trio, she creates jazz of the upper most quality with warm melodies and a playful drive. Songs without large manners, but filled to the brim with love and genuine musicality"
Patrik Lindgren, Lira

"It only required one listening of ”Present” to have me seal the deal... The trio plays such great, honest and competent jazzmusic one can only require."
Stig Linderoth, OrkesterJournalen

”Teresa Indebetou Band is, excuse my French, just too damn good. Thanks for the magic."
Ola Claesson, SmålandsPosten

”There is a nervy and love filled intimacy in the musician's way of approaching the task. Everything has a natural flow, as can happen between musicians that have played together for a long time. It is groovy and beautiful at the same time."
Martin Lindström, DalaDemokraten

PRESENT:

”There's a heartfelt intimacy in their approach to the music. It all has a natural flow, as can happen between musicians who have played together for a long time and enjoy each other's company. It's groovy and beautiful at the same time."
Martin Lindström, Dala-Demokraten

"It only required one listening of ”Present” to have me seal the deal... The trio plays such great, honest and competent jazzmusic one can only require."
Stig Linderoth, OrkesterJournalen

”The piano playing is shimmering and continously inspiring to listen to... Jenny Kristoffersson contributes with plenty of singable basslines and lovely solos... the drummer Martina Almgren contributes with straight and supportive playing... The record is a jewel that keeps on growing with each listening. Communicative and fun music!
Andreas Lagerkrantz, Lira

”It was such a long time since I bought a jazz recording with such playfullness, aquity and span. Really refreshing. Esbjörn Svensson Trio, Lars Jansson and Bengt Hallberg are all references that pop into my head- but the recording has a wonderful personal touch.”
Martin Clase

”The music is playful, melodic and inquisitive in the hands of the trio... The comparisson is rather unavoidable to Esbjörn Svensson Trio, and with Teresa Indebetou Band there is this same disarming freedom. It is a challange to have an all encompassing knowledge of a genre and still dare to do something new with it... The sound imagery is airy and is driven forward with a keen awareness of the music and that it shall receive as large a scope as possible. Maybe it is easy to become jaded when you attend many concerts. When you then experience something that really hits, it hits so much harder. Teresa Indebetou Band is, excuse my French, just damn good. Thanks for the magic.”
Ola Claesson, SmålandsPosten

”Begin with Teresa's light and delicious touch of the ivory keys, add voluptious tones från Jenny's bass and Martina's responsive and driven drumming. The Sum: A high-class piano trio of the Nordic, lyrical tradition that perform original compositions with special influenses.”
Alvesta Jazz & Blues

”The trio offered fun arrangements and beautiful solos, and it was delightful and enjoyable music at the highest level. The music was playfull, advanced, but still easily accessable. It gave a completeness of especially inviting melodic jazz, filled with Nordic influenses in addition to the latin ones."
Lennart Götesson, DalaDemokraten

"With her trio, she creates jazz of the upper most quality with warm melodies and a playful drive. Songs without large manners, but filled to the brim with love and genuine musicality."
Patrik Lindgren, Lira

COOKING:

” Teresa has her own profile, completely removed from clichés…. A record that shouldn't disappear in the avalanche of music.”
Torsten Eckerman/ Lira 2012

”... The musical material is very well composed and melodic. Multiple songs have that edge containing powerful choruses... The group is musically tight... There are also some instrumental numbers, among them ”Meditation”, where Teresa shows her strenght as a pianist and improviser. Apart from Teresa's fine piano solos, I must praise Jenny Kristoffersson's double bass solo in ”Victor”, as well as guitarist Michael Indebetous wonderful insertions. A really exciting debut album."
OrkesterJournalen dec 2010

”Teresa Indebetou is a very personal pianist with a pensively lyrical touch both in the fast and the slow pieces. Lina Holm sings with warmth in ”Så nära” (So Close) where Michael Indebetou's blue guitar and Jenny Kristoffersson's singing double bass take part in the conversation. There is a genuine joy in the playing and a curiosity in the music."
Lira 2010
